HON ASSEMBLY MEMBERS OF KRACHI EAST MUNICIPAL RECEIVES MOTORBIKES FROM THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH THE MINISTRY OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT, DECENTRALISATION AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT. In handing over the motorbikes, the Oti Regional Police Commander, DCOP Mr. Charles Domanban who represented the oti Regional Minister Hon. Joseph Makubu said that the motorbikes were given to the Hon. Assembly members to ensure the smooth running of their day-to-day activities in their respective Electoral Areas. He laid enfaces on the registration of the motorbikes. He told them that, they have a week to get the motorbikes registered so as to prevent the police officers from arresting them on the road. Present in the event was the Hon. MCE for Krachi East Hon. Francis Kofi Okesu. He commended the Assembly Members for their selfless dedication, hard work and sacrifices to their electoral members over the years. He also reiterated that they should be honourable enough to ensure that the motorbikes are registered before the one week given by the Hon. Regional Minister and Regional Police commander. The Hon. Presiding Member who doubles as the Assembly Member for Okanease Electoral Area, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Ladzi thanked the Government for having them at heart. He added that, the motorbikes will surely help them make their work easy and effective. He concluded that they will keep to their words by registering the motorbikes before the given time.
