The Births and Deaths Registry is responsible for the general administration, supervision and control of Births and Deaths registry in the Municipal.
Other specific functions are:
To register births and death in the Service
Maintenance of database of births and deaths in the Service;
Advises the Municipal Assembly on matters related to civil registration.
The office of the Birth and Death Department is located at the old Municipal Assembly Building and currently the Education Directorate at Dambai.
