The purpose of the meeting was to confirm the newly appointed MCE for Krachi East Municipality by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana. The meeting was held at the Oti Regional Coordinating Council’s Conference Hall on Tuesday 2^nd May, 2023 at 9:00am prompt. The Hon. Presiding Member introduced the Assembly Members, Head of Departments/Units for various Institutions within the Municipality and other dignitaries.

The President’s nominee, Mr. Bernard Aboakoja Mensah for the MCE position for Krachi East Municipality was introduced by the Hon. Regional Minister for Oti, and the election/balloting for the newly appointed was conducted by the District Electoral Officer with further explanations.

The results of the election was declared with a 100% vote by all the Assembly Members and announced by the District Electoral Commission Officer.

The nominee was confirmed and sworn into office as the MCE for Krachi East Municipal Assembly by the Hon. Regional Minister.
