Krachi East Municipal Assembly Conducts Monitoring, Evaluation and Handover of Development Projects

The Krachi East Municipal Assembly has undertaken a monitoring and evaluation exercise on several ongoing and completed development projects across the Municipality, reaffirming its commitment to transparency, quality service delivery, and community-centered development.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Team was led by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Safo Nketia, and inspected major ongoing projects including school building projects, renovation of health centres, and the drilling of boreholes aimed at improving access to safe drinking water in various communities.

As part of the exercise, the Assembly also officially handed over some completed projects to the beneficiary communities. These included projects at the Tokuroano Urban Council, the Adumadum CHPS Compound, and the Kpelema Health Centre. The handover marked the completion of the projects and transferred responsibility for their use and maintenance to the respective communities.

During the visits, the team assessed the quality of work done, progress levels, and adherence to project specifications. Contractors were engaged and advised to comply strictly with approved standards and timelines to ensure the sustainability of all projects.

Hon. Safo Nketia emphasized that the Assembly remains committed to improving access to education, healthcare, and potable water across the Municipality. He encouraged community members to take ownership of the facilities handed over and to maintain them for long-term use.

The Municipal Assembly reiterated that regular monitoring and evaluation exercises will continue to ensure value for money and effective utilization of public resources.
