Krachi East Municipal Assembly Participates in National Sanitation Day at Dambai.
The Krachi East Municipal Assembly on Saturday, 7th February 2026, actively participated in the National Sanitation Day exercise at Dambai, reaffirming its commitment to environmental cleanliness and public health.
The exercise was led by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Safo Nketial, and supported by key staff members of the Assembly. The event also recorded strong participation from the good people of Dambai, who turned out in their numbers to clean public spaces, desilt drains, and properly dispose of waste.
Addressing participants during the exercise, Hon. Safo Nketial commended residents for their enthusiasm and sense of responsibility towards maintaining a clean environment. He emphasized that sanitation is a shared duty and urged residents to adopt good sanitation practices beyond the designated sanitation days.
The National Sanitation Day exercise forms part of government efforts to promote environmental cleanliness, prevent sanitation-related diseases, and improve the overall well-being of communities.
