On the Friday, 1st December, 2023, all farmers and some government officials, including the Krachi East Municipal Chief Executive were at event held at Yariga No. 2. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Delivering Smart Solution for Sustainable Food Security and Resilience” Different kinds of food stuffs were displayed for exhibition during the celebration. Some tribes also displayed their rich culture by showing their various dance. The over all municipal best farmer is Mr. Ernest Talikun Njonam Ujan aged 34 who resides at Pia-Katanga. He received the following items, Certificate, One Motor Tricycle, Two Knapsack Sprayer, Five (5) Cutlass and Two Pairs of Wellington Boots
